Playground Swings. Many people will have noticed the new swings on the Stragglers Field at Hounds Green which are replacements for the structure that collapsed last year.

It has taken some time to source and select affordable replacements but the end result is that the Parish now has a recreational asset for youngsters that should last for a number of years.

The Parish Council is most grateful to Dursley Rugby Club for re-siting the safety surface on the field thus enabling the new swings to be erected.

The project benefited tremendously from a grant made by Stroud District Council towards Parish Plan requirements which was used to part fund the purchase of the swings.
