Congratulations to Ann Selby and Nola Bradley on volunteering to take on the task of providing a replacement for The Stinchcombe Community Spirit. The first edition of Stinchcombe News has been produced and distributed to all residents this month (October 2009) and it is intended to produce subsequent editions on a quarterly basis. Quiz Night
The Stinchcombe Quiz is being held on Saturday 14th November at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. It costs £7.50 per person to enter and the price includes a ploughmans supper. People can join together in teams or take part individually. There is no cash bar so whatever you fancy drinking with supper and during the quiz bring it along with you; glasses are available in the Hall. There will also be a raffle during the evening. Gloucestershire’s libraries are giving customers the chance to ‘go green’ and save some cash by exposing the energy guzzlers in their homes.
