November's Parish News carried the story about the proposed 'Wind Farm' in Stinchcombe and ended with the news that the Ecotricity planning application for a 70 metre high wind monitoring mast on the site had been refused by Stroud District Council. The present Clerk to the Parish Council will be retiring at the end of March 2010 and a new Clerk will therefore be needed for Stinchcombe Parish Council to start work in April 2010. This is a part time post working from home apart from attendance at Parish Council meetings (approximately 6 a year) in the Village Hall.
